Cranfield Alpacas

Walking or hiking

Silent Valley

The Silent Valley and Ben Crom reservoirs are only 10 minutes drive from Ballykeel Farm. A number of easy or more difficult walks, café and play area for the kids.

Golfing

If golfing is your thing, we have two of the best Northern Irish courses with in 10 miles. Kilkeel Golf Club and the championship links at Royal County Down Golf Club

Carlingford

How about a day out to Carlingford. The ferry runs every day during the summer and at weekends during the winter months.

The town of Carlingford is on the Cooley Peninsula, between  Carlingford Lough and the mountain of Slieve Foye.  It is known for its oyster farms, medieval buildings and outdoor activities.

Kilbroney Forest Park

For the younger ones amongst us the Narnia trail is a must for all lovers of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Tollymore

The Tollymore Forest Park is a perennial favourite with families and now Game of Throne enthusiasts. Check out Game of Throne Tours to for details of their tour round the park.

There are many trails close by to mountain bike and we have secure storage for your precious bike.
