Ballykeel Farm features pet friendly, self-catering accommodation at the foot of the Mourne Mountains.

  • The Stables is a 3-bedroom property with views over the fields to Slieve Binnian.
  • The Booley is a 1-bedroom property in an old converted farm building adjoining the main farmhouse.

Book one or both properties for your country getaway and a wonderfully relaxing farm stay holiday.

**The 2024 Irish Open will take place from 11-15 September 2024, at Royal County Down Golf Club, in Newcastle.

With Newcastle just a 10 minute drive from Ballykeel Farm and a bus stop directly outside the farm, The Stables and The Booley would make a perfect base while attending the Irish Open. Please get in touch with us directly is you wish to book during this time.**

There has been a dwelling on this site for over 250 years. Our family leased the farm from the Kilmory Estate in 1798 has lived here ever since.

We are easy to get to on the A2 between Kilkeel and Annalong, close to all the amenities of Newcastle. Within easy reach are many of the Mournes best walking, hiking, mountain biking trails and golf courses. There is a wealth of things to do and see for all ages and tastes.

Ballykeel Farm is perfect for those looking to explore all the Mournes have to offer. Couples, friends and families can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, close to local amenities but far enough to have the genuine county experience.
